bit of software that is easy to install on your computer
and makes rating a full day of races
a real matter of half a dozen mouse clicks and
it's all done - complete with recommendations on which
races to bet on and which ones not to - according to default
settings that YOU can change
to suit your own individual ideas - or use the default
values that come with the software - it's up to you.
That's
right - half a dozen mouse clicks and your individual
ratings, based upon your selection values,
are all done automatically - no
more time spent entering the data - it does it
all for you in just a few seconds.
Or,
if you prefer, you can leave the programme on the default
settings and generate ratings with the form values used
by the amazing writer of this software, David, who is
an affiliate of ours here at RaceRate.com.
In
over 40 years of being a punter who loves the races,
I have never seen a piece of software like this
- IT IS THAT GOOD.
You
can either run it in the default settings mode, which
returns a goodly % of winners rated in the top 4 selections
(from the trials I have done on it (and I only played
with it in the default mode), or you can "tweek it"
to suit your own form value ideas
and reflect your form judgments. Once you set it
up to suit your own ideas, you're away. You could rate
every race meeting in Australia on any Saturday, metro,
provincial and country, within half an hour and still
have time for a cup of tea and some toast at the end of
the 30 minutes! And no, there is no
additional purchase needed to be made after you
grab this one piece of amazingly brilliant software. A
few clicks and no data to input!

IN NO DOUBT - THIS IS THAT GOOD.

So
- what settings are you, as a user, able to change if
you so desire to reflect YOUR form analysis ideas to decide
if a race is bettable or not a betting proposition?
Bet
on Maiden races ( y/n) You may think they're too hard
to pick or you may love them.
Bet on 2YO races (y/n) Same as maidens!
Bet on jumps races (y/n) You may not wish to bet in jumps
races so you'd select no. You may love jumps races so
you'd select yes.
Minimum number of starters? You may be place betting and
therefore wish to set your minimum number of starters
at 8.
Maximum number of starters? You may think there is too
much interference in races with more than x number of
starters
Minimum race distance? You may think that races over ,say
2400, are too hard and not enough exposed form at that
distance is shown.
Maximum race distance? You may think that races under
1000m are a bit of a raffle.
Either
leave these at the default settings OR CHANGE to suit
YOUR ideas and these seven criteria then will tell you
automatically if a race is a good or bad betting proposition
according to your ideas. And you can change them
at any time that YOU choose. At the bottom of the mains
screen is an options TAB that takes you right to the heart
of the programme where you an make any adjustment you
like.
There
are then a further 19 race form
criteria over which you have full control to assess
the importance to your ideas of things like barriers,
win and place percentages, track performance, distance
performance, state of track performances, last three start
individually rated performances etc etc and bear in mind,
once you have set these up to suit YOUR ideas, the computer
does everything for else for you in three easy clicks
of the mouse every race day. Bang - done. No more sweating
over a race form and spending hours doing it all.
You
work out in your mind, based on your ideas, what the relative
importance of each form value is and then set it on the
programme (once only!) and away you go. Print the ratings
out on a single page and you're off. How accurate can
you get with the comparative values? To about .1% of relevance!!
The
software programme will retain the values you set them
at until you decide otherwise. You can return to the default
values of the programme at any time with a single click
of the mouse. Or change to another set of values you'd
like to operate on.
We
ran a set of selection criteria that we have been testing
on Sunday May 23 2010 which we're happy to share with
anyone who purchases this software. Using the selection
criteria edit panel, we entered in to the programme a
few of our ideas and we arrived at 54 selections that
returned 24% winners and returned 72.6 units. But, again.
you criteria may be better than ours!!
This
is so easy to install. It is all self explanatory. Instructions
are on screen, accurate and easy to follow. The only thing
you have to input on race day are the scratchings from
each race and you're off. OR, you
can do the ratings the day before and just mark
off any scratchings you come across as they are broadcast
from your printed ratings sheet with a biro if you like.

is Excel based but, no, you cannot "stuff it up"
no matter what you do - and I have tried!

dutch betting calculator that is included with this programme
is worth its weight in gold. NO entry of data required
except for the approximates as the programme inserts the
top 5 rated horses in each race and then displays the
amounts needed to dutch up to five of them and still show
a profit - and it automatically inserts the horses names
in to the calculation sheet for you!
We
do give a back up email tech support
service with the developer and writer of this incredible
software so you are only always just an email away from
assistance should you have any "dramas" but
I am confident you won't. All the instructions are "on
screen" - all but impossible to go wrong. Your tech
support email address will be sent to you with the software.
