operates on all States of Australia and on all track conditions.
THERE
IS ONLY ONE SELECTION POSSIBLE PER RACE and it takes just
a few minutes each day to do each meeting. After scratchings
are announced, all bets can be placed immediately and it
operates well at level stakes.
During
our month long trial in September 2009, there were 76 bets
for 21 winners (or 27.63% strike rate)
returning a profit at level stakes of 46.8 units or 61.5%
profit on turnover. (Longest run of outs for win
betting during the entire month was 13 - which is why we
recommend level stakes "set and forget" betting
on this one - next longest run of outs was five.)
We
started with a bank of $250 and, using $25 units to win
on each selection, our account had grown to $1395 - a raw
increase of $1145 for the month.
Had we been betting for a place only, our $250 bank
would have grown to $517 by September 30th. - YES,
it does show a level stakes profit on turnover place betting
of just over 15% which is rather unusual.
The
place strike rate overall was 63.1%. (Longest run of outs
place betting was just three over the entire month!)
The
figures above are all based on VicTab dividends - undoubtedly,
had we had the time to be chasing all afternoon, we would
have done much better on Betfair but we didn't have the
hours to dedicate to this testing period to that degree
of intensity.
